Today my local paper, the Shropshire Star wrote a very nice piece about me, and my book. They're good like that, balancing national and worldwide stories with those more close to home. And, how appropriate that the journalist's name is Chris Burns!!

It was 2.00pm. I was sitting in my dressing gown in my study hard at work editing the next book 'Great Bales of Fire'. The door bell rang and I opened the door to a courier. After double taking my choice of clothing he gave me a heavily reinforced package........ Turned out to be a congratulatory bottle of champagne from my publisher at Orion, Alan Samson. Got an email from my agent today telling me my book had been included within The Bookseller Magazine. This I'm told is very encouraging. This is the magazine read by all the leading bookshops and shows that the editor feels All Fired Up is a book they feel significant enough to feature.
